A Fun-Filled Morning at Rally House
In September, NWTO New England Ambassador Davida Dinerman and NWTO Member Judy Dixon hosted an NWTO Ambassador event at the beautiful new Hatfield Rally House in Hatfield, MA, owned and operated by Ashley Schaffer. Seventeen energetic and fun-loving women, ages 40 and up, came together for a morning filled with tennis, camaraderie, learning, and plenty of smiles.
The morning kicked off with clinics and round-robin doubles, giving everyone a chance to sharpen their skills and enjoy some friendly competition. At check-in, participants were treated to a Head towel, hat, or bag, along with two cans of new Penn tennis balls, courtesy of our generous Head representative. Players also had the opportunity to scan a QR code and sign up for a complimentary one-year NWTO membership.
A special highlight of the morning was the presentation of a banner celebrating the NWTO–Rally House partnership. Judy and Davida presented Ashley with the banner, officially recognizing Rally House as an NWTO partner and celebrating the exciting relationship between the two organizations.
Throughout the tennis portion of the event, players and coaches also had the chance to demo a variety of Head racquets. It was a great opportunity to try out different racquets while enjoying the competition.
After everyone had their fill of tennis fun, the group gathered in front of a large screen featuring the NWTO website. With fruit and other goodies in hand, participants settled in for an informative and interactive introduction to the NWTO. Davida walked the group through the website, highlighting upcoming tournaments, membership benefits, and all that the NWTO has to offer.
The participants were enthusiastic and engaged, asking thoughtful questions and showing particular excitement about the tournament opportunities. The energy in the room made it clear that there is a strong appetite for more opportunities to compete, connect, and have fun on the court.
All in all, it was a fantastic morning at the stunning new Rally House. We are thrilled to welcome Rally House as the NWTO’s inaugural club partner and look forward to building on this partnership.
