Tournament Recap: 2025 World Championships


Palm Beach Gardens, FL (May 11–16)

Countries from around the globe sent age-level teams to compete in the prestigious ITF World Championships in Palm Beach Gardens.

The W60s team of Vicki Buholz, Jenny Klitch, Jenny Rens, and Christina Kaus swept Italy 3–0 to win the Alice Marble Cup for the USA.

 

In W65, Susan Wright, Ros Nideffer, Anne Frautschi, and Shannon Gordon-Carney lost a heartbreaking deciding doubles match and brought home silver.

 

The W70s team of Tina Karwasky, Carolyn Nichols, Betsy Kuhle, and Pat Purcell captured the Althea Gibson Cup, defeating France in the final.
