PNW Ambassador Event Brings Tennis, Community & New Connections to Seattle

PNW’s NWTO Ambassador, Ana Tessadro, hosted a second PNW Ambassador event at the University of Washington’s Nordstrom Tennis Center—and it was a terrific evening of tennis, community, and new connections.

The event brought together a fun and strong multigenerational group ranging in age from 34 to 79, with 18 people in attendance. Nine NWTO members attended, and four members took the opportunity to bring a friend. Their guests were a wonderful addition to the group and a great way to introduce new players to NWTO.

The evening started with 75 minutes of doubles and pro-led drills. After tennis, the group gathered for drinks, snacks, and conversation about NWTO and tournament tennis.

The group discussed several options, including the new Level 1 mixed doubles tournament in Beaverton and the two World Tennis Tour tournaments in Vancouver, Canada, just 2½ hours by car from Seattle.

Most importantly, the evening demonstrated what the Ambassador Program is all about: bringing NWTO members together, creating new connections, and expanding awareness of NWTO and the opportunities the organization provides.

A big thank-you goes to everyone who participated, brought a friend, and helped make the evening such a success. NWTO looks forward to creating more opportunities through the Ambassador Program to connect the tennis community in the future.
