Love, Marriage & a Little Friendly Competition at the National Husband-Wife Hardcourts
The USTA National Husband-Wife Hard Court Championships returned to the Biszantz Family Tennis Center at Claremont McKenna College October 30–November 1, bringing couples from across the country together for a weekend of national-level competition, camaraderie, and fun.
With seven divisions spanning Open through the 150s, the tournament offered plenty of exciting tennis and opportunities for couples to share the court in pursuit of a coveted Gold Ball. Whether longtime tournament partners or first-time participants, players enjoyed the unique experience of competing alongside their spouses. Teamwork, communication, and perhaps a little selective hearing is the formula for success!
As always, the Husband-Wife Hard Courts are about more than the results. They provide an opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces, make new friends, and enjoy the iconic taco dinner on the terrace.
