DIVISONS: 35s-75s
The USTA National Senior Women’s Hardcourts (35-85) were a huge success at the Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, CA. Players enjoyed beautiful weather as well as the gorgeous scenery of mountains and palm trees. A huge shoutout to Tournament Director Andi Polisky for once again putting on a flawless event and organizing a fabulous week of tennis and fun!
More than 85 players, from the 35s to 75s, competed for the prestigious gold, silver and bronze balls. The early morning temperatures were cool and crisp followed by the afternoon desert heat.
The players put their dancing shoes on trying to keep up with Andi on the dance floor at the player dinner. Mission Hills hosted a beautiful evening outside on the patio with a DJ and delicious entrees along with a delectable tiramisu. Nori Collier and Lori Johnson shared important updates and information on the impact the NWTO has had on senior age group level tennis and the community. The membership keeps growing and so do our sponsorship partners.
Overall, the tournament was a hit! The staff at Mission Hills Country Club could not have been more accommodating.
