A WHOLE NEW WAY TO PLAY

AGE-LEVEL TENNIS

Competition for women ages 30–90+, divided into 5-year age groups, so you compete against players close to your own age.

Understanding Age-Level Tournaments

Age-level singles and doubles events are available across the country.

Tournaments are categorized by their event level, which indicates prestige and points rather than player skill:

  • Level 1– The highest prestige and most ranking points, played as a circuit on all four surfaces in each age group, similar to a Grand Slam

  • Level 2– Strong national events

  • Level 3– Competitive regional events but also part of the national calendar

Visit the Tournament Tab on the website to access the current list of USTA tournaments.  The tournaments are divided by Level 1, Level 2-3 and Family Divisions. Level 4-7 tournaments are local  events and not national level tournaments, so they are not included on our tournament list. Look on the calendar of your local USTA section to find those playing opportunities.

Most Level 1-3 tournaments provide both singles and doubles.  Some Level 1 events are stand-alone mixed doubles events.
